Seasonal Walks At Rowallane Garden
Rowallane Garden is a National Trust site set in the County Down town of Saintfield in Northern Ireland, about a thirty minute drive from Belfast. Living about a twenty minute drive from Rowallane Garden I visit quite regularly, therefore I have seen the gardens in all seasons, which you will be able to tell from the reel above and being a National Trust member it makes it a whole lot easier and cheaper!

The gardens are a mix of formal and informal with many different plants from all over the world. The trees, plants and shrubs range in ages, size and colour and create a spectacle throughout the year. With an onsite cafe, Rowallane Garden is perfect for an afternoon tea or light bite to eat, with stunning views over the walled garden and woodland trail.
Fantastic for leisurely walks, whether you are walking the walled garden and courtyard or the outer woodland trails you won’t be disappointed. The gardens, walking trails and cafe are open all year round, however if closing they will update the National Trust website or social media pages.
If you are interested in becoming a National Trust member you can do so via this link or if you are visiting any National Trust sites whether that be in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland or Wales you can sign up for a membership in their on site offices, its just a matter of asking one of their helpful staff who will get you a form.
