The start of my adventures…
A spontaneous last minute decision to fly 18 hours across the world by myself in September 2018, will be my biggest leap to date. Never had I imagined i’d actually walk into Sta Travel in Victoria Square and book a two and half week trip around Bali, Indonesia.
The shock on my parents faces was priceless when they realised that travelling the world is something that I have longed to do, by that stage I will have graduated from university and completed my Duke of Edinburgh Award, so as a present/reward to myself I decided well f**k it i’m going to treat myself to a well earned holiday and begin to see parts of the world that I have seen all over Instagram and YouTube.
What made me do it?
From watching different YouTube videos and viewing different Instagram accounts and watching other girls around my age, jumping on a plane and seeing the world inspired me just to do the same. Take life as it comes and just go for it because if I don’t start seeing the world now I never will.
What am I going out to do?
I am booked on the Sta Travel, Bali on a shoestring, 9 day trip, this trip starts in Kuta going right up round the island of Bali finishing in Gili T. I will be staying in various accommodation ranging from hotels to hostels and residential homes. I will be visiting temples, waterfalls, Ubud monkey forest and art market, rice fields and many more.
However, I am going for two and a half weeks, so my last lot of days will be spent in Ubud, in Hotel Tjampuhan Spa, which is situated in the heart of the Ubud jungle. I cannot wait to get out there and to take it all in and just relax
Bali blogs and posts will be a major part of this website come September, because I plan to go all out with my photography skills!
